More on InterVISTAS

Focus on InterVISTAS

DHV Group is proud to have aviation consultancy InterVISTAS in its family. InterVISTAS, operating worldwide and with offices in the USA, Canada, UK and the Netherlands, is as of 6 October 2011 a wholly owned part of the DHV Group.

“InterVISTAS fully compliments our vision for being a world player in the aviation industry,” says Bertrand van Ee, President DHV Group. Full ownership of InterVISTAS will also unlock further collaboration with DHV Group’s company NACO, Netherlands Airport Consultants.

The further investment in InterVISTAS is in line with DHV Group’s strategy of preferring full ownership of the companies that it invests in. InterVISTAS will become the main presence of the DHV Group in North America.

About InterVISTAS

InterVISTAS is a high-end aviation consultancy company with world-wide activities for airports and airlines. The company has a staff of 100 highly professional consultants and has offices in the USA, Canada, the UK and the Netherlands. InterVISTAS mainly operates in North America, Asia, (Eastern) Europe and the Middle East.

Recent InterVISTAS projects in Europe and the Middle East include advising on the PPP concession of Skopje Airport in Macedonia and the potential privatization of Queen Alia International Airport in Jordan. In the Netherlands it is advising Twente on the potential to create commercial activities at its airport. InterVISTAS also works with numerous airports in North America, to help them attract new air services. These airports, ranging in size from 20,000 to 35 million passengers, include Toronto Pearson, Denver, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Houston Airports and Comox (BC). Various new passenger and cargo services have been attracted, resulting in increased traffic and additional airport revenues. In Canada, InterVISTAS recently prepared a business case for the expansion of the Transit Without Visa program on behalf of the major airports in Canada, where InterVISTAS demonstrated upwards of $70 million in additional economic output per year for airlines, airports and communities. Project clients at major airports such as Toronto and Vancouver have attracted new flights and additional transit passengers as a result of this program.
