DHV participates in economic mission to China

Engineering consultancy DHV is a member of the Dutch economic mission to China on 28-30 September, headed by Minister Eurlings of Transport, Public Works, and Water Management.

Traffic management and (air)port development are at the centre of the mission. The projects DHV has carried out in these fields include the following:
  • Masterplan for the port of Guangzhou
  • Development of BETIMES: Beijing Traffic Information & Model Evaluation System
  • Tianjin Railway Station design
  • Masterplan and design of Beijing Capital International Airport, Terminal 3

DHV has been active in China for over 25 years now. A staff of around 120 people operate out of our offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, and Tianjin, working in the fields of water, coastal development, transportation, airports, and building.

09.30-11.45 hours Roundtable on green airports
Henk de Lange (Regional Manager, China, of DHV’s subsidiary NACO) is one of the speakers
 
13.30-14.15 hours Official start of the mission at the embassy of the Netherlands. Among those attending from DHV is Bertrand van Ee, President of the Executive Board.
29 September (Shanghai)  
14.00 - 17.00 hours Roundtable on ports with Minister Eurlings

30 September (Guangzhou)  
10.00 - 13.30 hours Roundtable on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and traffic management with Minister Eurlings.
