The “Hub Holland Hub” submission has won the “Roadmap 2028” Innovation relay 2009 competition. In this competition, which is organized by the De NieuwBouw foundation, various teams are asked to present their vision of infrastructure and transportation in the Netherlands in 2028. The vision of the “Hub Holland Hub” team is premised on the optimal use of the existing road network and the bringing together of physical and virtual transportation. In the vision—which was developed by young professionals from DHV, Microsoft, and TNO— a lot of attention is paid to the role of ICT in infrastructure.
