Transportation

Road and Rail
Society has become more mobile than ever before, as can be seen daily on our roads and public transport systems. Transporters of goods, commuters and holiday traffic all jostle for the ‘right of way’. There are no simple solutions. A road-widening project, new bridge, station or rail connection is often only a temporary solution. Managing what has been built or making better use of existing infrastructure is part of our approach. The DHV Group vision can be summed up in three words: ‘more with less’. We seek innovative concepts for increasing capacity and safety, while requiring less space, energy, cost and project lead time. Often, this requires an adaptation of processes rather than the construction of new facilities.

Aviation
Our clients, airport authorities and operators, governments, airlines, and private investors look for specialized services to meet capacity changes and upgrade airport facilities. The combination of the worldwide experience of NACO and the specialized knowledge of consultancy InterVISTAS offers a unique spectrum of services, including privatization support, air service development, airport planning and full realization. In recognition of the increasing emphasis on sustainable development, we took an important step towards becoming a recognized Green Airport consultant by joining the GRI initiative for developing a reporting framework on environmental, economical, and social performance in the airport sector.
